Personal Statement

As a pediatrician, I believe that it is a privilege to be able to care for children, watching them grow from infancy to adulthood. I love being a part of a child's life at each stage of their development. I try to bring insights from my own parenting experiences to my pediatric practice. Life at home has provided much practical experience on parenting issues like sibling rivalry, discipline, limiting exposure to harmful messages in popular culture, and maintaining a nutritionally healthy household. My own children, a preteen and teenager, are growing up so quickly. I love to come to Hyde Park Pediatrics to experience infancy, toddlerhood, and early childhood again through the lives of my patients and their families.
