Personal Statement
I became a nurse because I loved the idea of being able to help people. I have fulfilled that dream working as a nurse in many different capacities throughout the years. I enjoy being a pediatric nurse practitioner because I feel I can offer so much to patients and families regarding their health. I like talking to people directly and problem-solving together. I always try to be open-minded and help a patient find a solution they are comfortable with. I love being able to explain things in a way patients can understand and allaying their fears regarding a health care issue. I feel it is a privilege to be a nurse practitioner and to be part of a wonderful practice such as Hyde Park Pediatrics. |
