EDUCATION AND PROFESSIONAL AFFILIATIONS
Dr. Compagnone was born in Milford, Massachusetts. His undergraduate education was at Boston College, from which he graduated magna cum laude in 1978. He received a master of arts degree in English from the University of Virginia in 1981 and his Doctor of Medicine degree from Boston University School of Medicine in 1991. He performed his internship and residency at the Children’s Hospital in Boston, with specialized training in primary care pediatrics. There he served for three years on the Residency Training Committee. He is board-certified in pediatrics and a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics. He is also a member of the Massachusetts Medical Society.

ACADEMIC AND HOSPITAL APPOINTMENTS
Dr. Compagnone joined the staff of Hyde Park Pediatrics in 1994. In addition to his responsibilities here, he has maintained close ties to the residency program of Children’s Hospital and its Primary Care Track. He holds an appointment at Harvard Medical School as Assistant Clinical Professor of Pediatrics. Dr. Compagnone is also an attending pediatrician in the Children’s Hospital Pediatric Health Associates Program and Primary Care Training Program, where he regularly teaches Children’s Hospital residents and Harvard Medical students. Dr. Compagnone holds admitting privileges at several hospitals in the Boston area, including MassGeneral Hospital for Children, Children’s Hospital, Brigham and Women’s, Beth Israel Deaconess, and Milton. |
